My Family History

My mother is from Goodman, MS and my father was from Starkville, MS. My mother picked cotton. My grandmother had to flee because of Jim Crow racial conflict in MS. They came looking for her.

Then my Dad came up when he heard that there was work in Iowa.

My Dreams

My dream is to be successful serving my community, to be a good husband and father, and to see all elements of our community flourish. I would love to see Waterloo have better housing, and better resources.
