Host of 'Arizona Midday' on 12 News says goodbye after 16 years: 'I decided to take a risk'

If you’re been wondering why Destry Jetton hasn’t been hosting “Arizona Midday” on 12 News lately, the answer is simple: She’s moved on.

Sort of.

Jetton, who had been on the show for 16 years, left a few weeks ago to become the vice president of communications for 72Sold, a real estate company founded by Greg Hague.

If you’ve seen a Phoenix Suns game in the last year or two, you’ve seen Hague, gesticulating as he extolls the virtues of his company.

“I wasn’t planning to leave,” Jetton said.

12 News’ Jetton joins 72SOLD as VP of communications

“I absolutely love Channel 12 and "Arizona Midday." I’ve been there for 16 years. And I did a show with Greg with ‘Arizona Midday.’ We just always had such a great time. I love his passion. I love how dedicated he is to his business.”

Hague must have felt similarly. He invited Jetton to join his team.
